Refunds and cancellation

Last updated 2 September 2026

A plan is a number of credits a month. What that means for a refund is simple: you are refunded for the credits you have not spent. Nothing you have made is taken back, and nothing you have not used is kept.

How it is worked out

Within 14 days of a payment, ask for it from the plans page inside the app. No reason is required and there is nobody to convince — the amount is worked out from your own account and the refund is filed straight away. It is the part of that payment covering the credits still unspent:

refund = what you paid × (credits unspent ÷ credits in the plan)

So on a 500-credit plan paid at $60, a hundred credits spent returns $48, and nothing spent returns the whole $60. It is worked out on what you actually paid, so a plan bought at an introductory price is refunded at that price rather than at the standing one. Once the whole allowance has been spent there is nothing left to return: every credit is a chain of language-model calls that cost us money the moment it ran and cannot be taken back once it has been delivered to you.

What a refund also does

A refund ends the subscription there and then — the unspent credits are the part being paid back, so they do not stay on the account, and nothing is charged again. You can subscribe again whenever you like.

It applies to the most recent payment only. Periods that have already ended are not reopened.

Cancelling instead

Cancelling is not the same as a refund and is always available, from the plans page inside the app. It takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for: you keep the allowance until then, nothing is charged again, and the projects you have made stay readable afterwards for as long as the account exists.

Changing to a smaller plan behaves the same way. The lower price applies from the next renewal, nothing is taken today, and the allowance you paid for stands until the period ends.

If something went wrong

This policy is about changing your mind. If the product failed — a run that never finished, a project that came back empty, anything charged that you did not ask for — write to hello@glair.app and we will put it right, refund included, and the credits it took put back by hand. That is not covered by the limits above: a run that failed is not a run you had.

Your statutory rights

Depending on where you live you may have rights that go beyond this policy, including a statutory right to withdraw from a purchase. Nothing here limits them. Payments are taken by Paddle.com Market Limited, who sell Glair on our behalf and are the merchant of record; a refund can also be requested through them.
